first DH/freeride bike

hey everyone/anyone, i just wanted to get an opinion on what bike to buy for my first dual shock DH/freeride. i cant really afford the $3000 bikes i have been shown at shops for my first but then again i want a decent bike. anyone got any ideas on what sorta 2nd hand bike i could get for around the $2000 mark to suit my needs.

you can pick up big hits pretty cheap these days. dont listen to what people say about them. they are a good begginers bike,i know this becasue i am a begginer myself.
