this has been built up on an off for a good year now. it had been sitting in my shed unused with nothing attatched to it for a while and so trading some old stuff, i managed to get enough bits to build it up.

super fast through rhythms and super smooth at the park. bit of a harsh ride though!

tell me what you think!

Frame: 03 Kona Scab Cro-mo
Forks: Prymo Rigids
Stem: Easton Vice
Bars: Bilt Redneck bars (cut down)
Brake: Hayes HFX-9 HD
Grips: shitty Da Bomb lockons
Wheels: F: Mavic F219 laved to 429 hub (i think, crappy shimano one)
R: Mavic 521 laced to same hub as front
Cranks: Truvativ Hussefelt
BB: Truvativ gigapipe XC
PEdals: Mosh
Tensioner: Surly copy with fucked spring so it's held into place with zipties (ghetto fabulous)
Chain: SRAM PC-69
Cassette: Shimano somethingorother (sooon to have a single cog just need to find my spacers
Saddle: SDG Gordo (it's gotta GO! it's massive!)
seatpost: Kona Double thumb
Tyres: F: High roller 2.5, soon to be the bling bling on the rear cos....
R: bald bling bling 2.35", soon to be holy roller 2.3"

simple, fun and cromo.

I have run a very similar setup to that.

You can't kill a Scab.

yeah, i was debating it but you know, seeing as people post up pretty much stock stps and get lots of comments like "ooh, nice ride" and "how original" i thought i would try it to attract people to make worthless comments thus boosting my e-ego:p

RCOH: that was the word i was thinking of when i was writing down about my SS setup. ghetto fabulous. i must add that now..

Carlin: too true.

The best bit about that bike is that it has a lift ticket underneath the seat, from Thredbo I think  shuttle runs on a full rigid is well hard.

Awesome looking bike though, must be ace for city rides!

yeah, i thought i would leave that on there to get people thinking. it is from the last national round in thredbo (not the champs) when i raced HT and had some suspension and gears (until race day when they shat themselves and i went SS for the race)
