Hey at the moment i am rebuilding My ironhorse warrior. I have bought parts for it all over the world.

These are the new things ive bought for it.

Maxxis Larsen tt tyres - LBS

Hayes sole hydraulic disc brakes - Hong kong

Lizard skin - LBS

At the moment i am waiting for my wheelsets to come from the US .

Then when the wheels come i am going to buy a shimano shifter for it an e.13 bashy some funn slojam viper pedals and husslefelt bars and stem.

Plz tell me what you think. Cheers :)

What year is your warrior??? What did you do with it in it's previous life???

I have an 03 Warrior Expert that I use for everything (mainly endurance racing) and my son has an 03 Warrior Sport that he did use for endurance/XC but is now rebuilding it to be an urban/jump bike :) He now has a Trance 2 for the XC/Endurance...

Nice versatile bikes IMHO :D

I think he is planning on staying with the original MZ Comps for the time being, they are pretty good with his light weight. Most of the other upgrade seem similar to yours.....

could be a pretty sweet XC ride once built up, i bought i think its an 04 one a year or 2 ago, biggest heap of S*** i ever bought. thats what ya get from buying from Rebel Sport i guess :p broke the cranks within the first week, tryed to 180 on flat ground (yes i no its stupid, its a XC bike not a stunt bike hahaha) and snapped the forks in half, ohh the joys.
but hey once u snap everything and replace it all......seems to be an alright bike, mines seen a few XC races and some long rides as well.

all the best for your project

Yer i snapped my forks. They were manitou sixs with 80 mm travel. I did manily dj on it . The rims buckled and the forks Snapped. So i used this as an advantage to build it up with stronger parts. :D . Its a 2003 model. :D :D
