Anyhow good luck with getting parts and hope it all goes well.

The NS Bitch is actuarlly designed as a All round Street/Dirt/Freeride frame

and it actuarly has warranty cover for DC forks, so if you think 66's are a little big compare them to some boxxers :)

OVER KILL! 66's on a street frame? watever floats ya boat, still its pretty sweet i must say. rims are a bit dull though, shoulda gone pimpin rims!

lose the 66's or put em down to like 100mm and u'll b set! nice ride

Octane_Matty
15-03-2006, 10:24 AM
yeah its tempting but id like long travel for DH

yes i know the rims are dull (original plan was chrome rims on gold hubs) BUT i found an awesome deal for the wheelset...i bought them in new condition for nearly half the price they were worth :D

Edit: I dont like pikes

if u do dh on it then why dont u run a front brake n gears... just a thought

Octane_Matty
15-03-2006, 01:24 PM
front brake hose was too short
getting goodridges soon

i used to like gears but now im sick of maintaining them and i dont want to spend any more money for a chainguide and all the rest. i easily bend derailers too :(

ey nick, forks are set at 170mm at the moment...when i get the chance im getting them adjusted to 150mm (bare in mind i cant barspin because of the 06 crown)

as for suburban and bitch

depends what you like mate, if you are pureley street/dj go the streetlegal, but if you want some downhill action bitch is the stuff.

note the differences being chainstays/weight and tyre clearance

cool bike looks awesome.
Do the forks hit the frame when you do xups?

Octane_Matty
18-03-2006, 09:37 PM
sadly yes it does, but thats the price you pay for compact beefy crowns ;)

no real loss...just an x-up

totaly, get it singlespeedinated. then it would be one hot bitch. looks the goods anyway, how are you finding those forks, are they good?

if he let some of the damn air out of em the shocks might feel good  :p

Did you iscg mount that chainguide ?

Yeah man, there was a little spacing issue solved with 3 washers on each...chainguide is awesome though the gears are jumping...probably need a bit more tunning or somethin.

get it singlespeedinated
I still have my SS drivetrain but its for rainy days...
I have been running SS for quite a few months and felt like a change since i live in a hilly area and need to build up more endurance as my legs have too much power.

if he let some of the damn air out of em the shocks might feel good
I did today actuarly from about 130psi to 100
i can bottom them out though but its smoother..

if he let some of the damn air out of em the shocks might feel good
I'd rather go single speed man, so pointless having such short gear range...i like this setup because it can still get me up hills and down them faster than the previous 38/15 SS setup

that is amazing! i love the pink and fox forks on front.. how is she to ride? easy to whip around?

your one lucky man! cherrish her

Octane_Matty
26-09-2006, 07:33 PM
at the moment she rides oook...

still needs some tunning...

need to get a new close ratio cassette and put the saint 38t ring on...
since the gears are jumping a little atm...hence why i HATE GEARS

oh and the forks...well having rebound problems at the moment...
will sort it out soon
