i have been trying to find out what the oil level should be for 2005 drop off tripples, the website dosn't have anything (or if it does i can't find it)
also what oil weight does everybody else out there run in them, i am finding the stock 7.5 wt way to fast on the rebound and want to know what a better weight would be to slow em down a bit.

mabey you need to look harder...

try here for a manual
http://marzocchi.com/template/listSPAManuals.asp?IDFolder=126&LN=UK&Sito=mtb&t=drop+off&IDA=8357&Submit=Search

or here for an oil level table
http://marzocchi.com/spa/mtb/products/oillevel.asp?LN=UK&Sito=mtb&Y=2004

as for weight, start with a 7w oil, then draw out 20ml, replace it with 20w and repeat until it feels good.

yeh not tooo hard to find the manuals, 10 - 15 weight oil is the best option IMO

yeah i have seen that oil level chart but see it is for 2004, is 2005 the same??? drop off tripples arn't in the 2005 oil charts.
and those manuals are pretty useless they only tell you that there is two air springs in em and that you should pay a marzocchi dealer for every little thing other than wipe it down with a rag to get dirt off the stanchions (Sp)

The Marzocchi website is a bit annoying tho - for 04 and 05 models, only oil volumes are listed, not oil levels. So if all you want to do is check your oil levels, you're pretty much stuffed - you have to dump your oil, bleed the dampers, measure out some new oil, and refill.

That said, perhaps the 03 oil levels might be of some use - is the drop off triple similar to the 05 jr T?

yeh, the may have changed the stickers but that's about it. It's essentialy 20 year old Moto technology.

And it's not air springs it's air assist.
