I have some Specialized Chunder 2.3 and Roller 2.3 tyres. Which would say be better as a front or rear and why?
Pic 0913 is the Roller, 0914 is the Chunder

Can you post some pics up of the tread? I did a google search but couldn't find any good pics that show the tread.

I my opinion, the 0913 would be the better one for the front as it has the knobs spread more across the width of the tyre. The other one for the rear as it has larger knobs which should wear less and give better grip in acceleration.
But that's just from what I've seen/found with my own. I'd say try them each way and see what's better.

0914 is a rear tire.
The wide padle like bars are designed to give thrust.
The other is a litle more versatile but it looks good for a front tire also, the vee patern of knobs is comonly used up front on quite a few designs.
The most obvious right now is huchinson bulldogs and kenda kinetics

Yeh I'd say 0913 for front and 0914 for the rear. If you put the 0914 on the front you'd have some pretty bad cornering as there arent really and knobs to grab the ground unless your parallel to the ground... which you probably wont be :)
