URGENT UPDATE! H.E Day (in Melbourne)

**took this from the Kilsyth, Lilydale 4x thread cos i didnt think many people would look at it as its sort of "outdated"

My bday is Wednesday and im not allowed to have a party so i thought we could do this....obviously we cant do it on Wednesday, cos of people and school and such..but i was thinking all the people in the area should come to H.E Parker reserve on Sunday and have a ride..make some new friends and have a bit of fun.
any members with good cameras (video and picture) please bring them and give me your email and ill put them all into a big video to post up a couple days later.
PM me or post in this thread to bump it up to get other members aware.

P.S..It would be great if those who come brought a puncture repair kit just in case. I will have mine and a pump but we don't have any glue

(last time i was there i cased the first middle and pinch flatted and had to walk home :mad: )

Should be a good day depending on how many people come, everyone should have fun, even if you can only do a few or can do all of them alone and have a good day. Ill be there nice and early get used to the jumps havent ridin for a while there. Should be fun:D .

Are they your trails/are you the trail boss/ do you do the digging there?
If not, then you shouldn't be advertising trails (even council) for people to ride because everyone knows that big groups of riders stuff places up quicksmart unless everyone respects the area (eg.bnr)

it is a council place, but mate if you have seen the place it is pretty hard to fuck it up. The jumps are hard as concrete so yeah..
They do however get fucked up by idiots on motorbikes....

**EDIT** Plus, hundreds of people know about H.E so i dont think a group of people will wreck it more in one day than hundreds have over months and years

You will be able to spot me fairly easy, i will be on a 06 STP1 with Single speed and Camo MTX rims, we will all meet at Ringwood station out the front at 10:30 and will wait there till 10:40 for all others to arrive.

I am taking my wheel to get trued a little later today and they might not be able to have it done today, so i will have to pick it up tomorrow. The day will still go ahead as planned, but i will arrange for everyone to meet someone else at the station if i am not able to make it. I will meet you all at H.E if my wheel is not ready in time

yep its still happening, just as i said, if i dont get my wheel back tonight, i will be sending Adam or Grant to meet you at the station...i will be at bicycle workshop collecting my wheel and i will meet you all at H.E a tad later.

You will know it is me, i will be wearing a black Champion singlet, black Champion pants and black work boots (for ankle support after the break...i should get some new riding shoes soon :) )

hey guys ill be meeting you at Ringwood Station with ma friend, grant, well should be jus would be great that ppl are at the station at time. I ride a Norco 4Hun 05 with a red helmet and ma friend rides a Norco 250 so just look out for us and we should see everyone there. it should be fun.:)

yeh, sorry bout that. i tried to contact matt n others to let em know that it wasn't happening. it got too hot. Anyone who wants to, we'll be havin a bit of a ride at Kilsyth BMX track this tuesday, at 11am onwards. Whoever wants to come and stuff can. It's school hols, so yeh.

Yes, my bike is fixed now. We spent AAAAGES spacing out my bashy cos the wider KMC chain rubbed on the bashy, and we had to drill out the roller for the STS to make the wider chain fit, but we are now in business :)
