Hey guys,

Just had a service done by FTR, big thanks to them :thumbsup4:

But when I was talking to Tim, he informs me that my shock's dampening isn't working. No big news though, as the stock shock is nothing to write home about..

So now, it seems as though I'm in the market for a new rear shock. I'm currently running an "X-fusion glyde" stock on an 04 bighit spec:

I've measured the eye to eye as 210mm, with about 10mm behing the shock.

So I'm looking for a new shock that fits in with those measurements, prefereably less than $300.

All sugestions welcome.

Thanks guys.

Do you mean the 10mm as in the stroke length? If not, what is the stroke of the shock?

For $300, you could probably get a nice second hand Fox Vanilla RC.

You won't get a new one for that money.

Your best bet is probably a swinger 4 for under 300. They're pretty good shocks. For a little extra you can get a 6 way or a dhx 3 or 4. Dhx is lighter so probably a better option if you can get 1.
