I am buying a bike that comes with Drop Off IV's single crown(QR20), and I want to put a pair of Boxxer Races(Maxle?) on it, however, they both have diferent types of axles, as you can see in the two pictues below.
What is the cheapest and most effective way to attach the Boxxers to the QR20 hub?

Whats the difference between QR20 and 20mm :S

I thought 20mm was 20mm, and QR20 is just the QR paddle on it instead of the bolt on each side of the axle to wind it out ?

All Rock shox forks should come with the maxle, you will have no problems and wont need a new hub all you will need to do is just unscrew the maxle and slide your hub on it and put it back on your forks and you should be set!

get a new hub, unless you have one that you are able to convert from a QR20 to a 20mm and vise versa

Are you for real? Seriously buddy, don't give bad advice...

QR20 is the same as a regular 20mm hub. The difference is in the way the axle mounts to the forks. Anyway, QR20 is Marzocchis proprietary system, just like Maxle is Sram/Rockshox's.

they are both the same except the Rockshox one is called maxle and it screws into the left leg and then clicks in

i dont know how the marz one works but i think it wont be as efficient and simple as the RS

they both use the same type of hub so no changing or whatever.

How does that work?
Won't the forks be all loose?

No, isnt Maxle like std QR, just with 20mm? Locking the paddle locks the wheel in? Just a guess

I'm a bit confused here. You are asking about the difference between QR20 and regular 20mm axles. Yet the Drop Offs in your pic have standard quick release drop outs. Are you sure you're not mixing up regular quick release and QR20?

If you have a standard quick release hub, then you will need to buy a 20mm hub to suit the Boxxers. If you have a 20mm hub, you're fine, just buy the forks and bolt them up.
