Hey i was wondering which people thought of either of these for a first bike i am open to suggesions and any help would be apreciated
2006 norco manik with the following mods
1. white syncros dps36 rims with gold dh direct hubs and dt swiss spokes
2. clear e.thirteen bashguard
Or
2006 mongoose fireball with
1. white syncros dps36 rims with gold dh direct hubs and dt swiss spokes
2. Hayes 8" Hfx9's
3. Manitou 100mm or 80mm gold series 2 forks
4. e.thirteen bashguard

Tell us what type of riding you want to do, your height weight etc.

im 14 weigh about 45kg and im a looking for an awesome cheapish starting bike i would like 2 get into 4x down hill and dirt jump and street pretty much anything

Personally, I'd go the Manil. You may also like to consider the Giant STP. No matter whether you see a lot of them around, they ARE a bloody good bike and I defy any one to give me a good argument as to why they are not.

i was thinking the custom fireball because the stp is really really overdone and u dont see many fireballs crusing down the street as mine would be

Yes that is true,
but i would say the stp is a lot better bike like johnny says,
even though people say stuff about them there are a good bike wheather there are 1000's of them or not.
My choice would be the STP. You are a small guy like me and i think the 13.5inch frame would be perfect.
The thing you could change on it though is the rims because they are shockers for street.

Although, I would recomend the Manik. Personally I don't really like goose's, the fireball being no exception. The Manik would deffinetely be better on DH, also I think (don't quote me on this) that the Manik has better components on it. Also I thought that the fireball was more of a street and DJ bike.

sorry i lost my post and only just found it...i was also looking in the forsales and found an 06 sasquatch 4 1grand would that be a good bike 2 start on i would also need 2 by sk8 helmet $50 661 leg guards torpedo 7 $44.44 661 gloves $48.97 and a netti axn full face $160 any help would help

cmon pplz uve got 2 have some ideas i was just looking on www.halorims.com and i was wondering if any1 has used or has halo 24" white combat rims i would be looking at the 32hole version how strong r they and would they hold up 2 some punishment i would use dh direct gold hubs and would have a front greenie tyre and a rear pink any imput would be apreciated
