Hey

A little while ago someone posted a link to a page that details how to tune the 888's on the Sunday Elite. I've been searching but I just can't find that link. Anyone know what page it is? Can you post me a link?

Cheers.

I cant help but point out the obvious here...
They are Marzocchi, so look at the Marz website...
Or do a general search in google for 888RC2X manual

I think he is after something a little more specific then matching spring weights and sag etc, it seems he is after certain info on tuning the fork SPECIFICALLY for the Sunday:)

Cheers guys.

It was a link to a page by someone who rides the Sunday Elite (American guy I think). He had written a whole heap of info on uprgrading springs, what oils to use etc. to get the shocks to work super good. It was good stuff, I just checked it at work and couldn't find it again when next I went to look for it. No amount of searching has helped, I was just hoping the person who originally posted it might notice this post. Bloody useless memory!

Do you mean the fork or the rear shock? I'd be interested to read it if you manage to find something, I'm trying to set-up mine at the moment.

The forks. The rear shock was pretty much dialed right out of the shop.

Found it! Seems obvious now, just took a long time.

Not really, got to get the heavier springs. I've set up the ones I have as well as they can be, which is pretty good, but I definitely need higher rate springs. I'm reasonably heavy.

I must say, it's the best bike I've ever ridden. I do notice that clank in the frame but as long as it doesn't cause problems I don't mind; there are a lot noisier bikes around.

You mean the top shock mount?

Get in touch with Darren at Push Industries. They've got a Factory Hardware kit for the Sunday that's hopefully arriving soon.

Looks something like this:
