Hey
l was wondering what type of rims(wheelset) would be good for my style of riding.
l am a freerider an love doing huge drops and vert jumps.
l was thinking around the $300 mark brand new or either second hand.
:D

I run ceramic 721's. They do the job very nicely. Front wheel is 2 years old and I've never had to put a spoke key anywhere near it. Mag30 is a nice rim too.

Having said that, for 300, you may have to go for a wheelset rather than having them laced to your spec. You may need to pay a little more than 300 too. I've seen 321's on Deore hubs go for $395 new/pair. Depends on whether you are running QR or through axle as well.

I have mag 30's on dice roulette hubs (built by wheelcraft), together cost less than $600. These are the best looking and strongest wheels I ever used.

Have a look at this if you haven't already, http://www.dirtworks.com.au/newsite/content/view/141/126/

Check out cahinreactions. and build your own wheelset. Use MTX rims and any hub and you get the sickest deals
