Mystic Trail Repairs.

The old Mystic DH trail, which is at Bright, NE Vic, had some sections logged after a storm late last winter.
A few of us Hotham boys have cleared a new section on the left side of the fire trail as you enter the logged area. It is marked with orange tape in a couple if trees. The new line was built in the same style as the rest of the track.

cheers sb, was sorry to see those sections gone, mystic was my first proper dh run all of 5 year ago and that middle section was probably my favorite. Although me and Ozfreerider found carving on a foot of powder interesting, especially after a moonlight run when we got up the top late.

Cool , did you go eliminate the steep fall line section ? Apart from that bit , the trail on the left of the fire road is the best part of the track I think.

The steep fall line section is still there, I think the steeps really make the trail.
More cleaning up will be done over the next few weekends.

Heading up to Mystic again on Sunday morning with a few Lads for a quick trim of some blackberries and a few shuttles. Had some rain there today, perfect to break the new section in.
