where to ride on the sunshine coast?

Are there any downhill or north shore style freeride tracks other than mapleton if so where are they and how do i get there

nobody is going to give you trail directions on the net buddy...do some hard yards and get to know guys at races and bike shops.

Despite what Big Dan said there are some of us who will point you in the right direction...

WWW.mtbdirt.com has a good list of trails in SEQ and people in the area to ride with.

Good advice Big Dan but no so practical around here... Out of the 2 bike shops within 45 mins drive. One sells road bikes and the other sells $200 dollar kids bikes and fishing gear... The only decent bike shop (Mammoth Cycles) was forced to close due to lack of customers. DH is non existent in the noosa area. Our only DH run in the area (all of 1 minute long) was destroyed. I 100k round trip (not including shuttling) makes the odd trip to mapleton the only decent DH track i've found to date (Directions provided by the good people at mtbdirt) a very expensive excersize. Well that's my winge for the day.

its a shame Mammoth closed, they used to look after Rohan gearing for years.
