Be a bit individual and get the Felt their great looking bikes and it wins the DJ hardtail comparison in CLICT. Their SS which is mad, good geometry etc. GET THE FELT!

yeh i have the Felt Straight Shot at the moment, it is a great bike for bacially everything.
i use it for dj's, DH, and 4cross. it has great Geometry for racing.
the only problem i had was the stock rims. i folded them in about 2 weeks or riding it on a DH track. also the forks they that come stock aren't the best and will need upgrading within 6months to a year. so i upgraded the rims and the forks and now it runs like a dream.
i would highly recomend getting the jump shot. the frame is basically the same as the straight shot so it will be sweet.
also there are not that many of them unlike the specialized p series bikes and Giant stp's so they are alot more individual.
wells theres my 2cents hope it helps with your decision

my friend had a jump shot. He cracked his frame riding up those blue coblestone retaining walls. He had to get a new frame which took like 4 weeks. then his forks got mucked up.he has had a bad run

he's not looking at 20" the bike he is looking at is a hardtail mountain bike doofus.
not all the jumpshots will crack like his did, i have had my straight shot (which is the same frame) for a year doing many a wallride and dj and there are no signs of cracking or dents. only scratches :o

I'm looking into getting a hard tail soon because I'm moving to europe and thought that I'l be doing heaps more urban riding over there than mainly DH like I do here. I have had my eye on a felt straight shot but I fear maybe that it might be not quite as strong as some other bikes. I will most probably still be doing a little DH on it and I have a tendency to be hard on bikes (I Cracked the frame of my 7inch freerider that was 8 months old). I just worry if it would be as strong as other hard tails around. Also, does anyone know how much they weigh?

NICK/krusty...just to let you know, before you shoot your mouth off you should read a person's details.
my point is the guy who started the thread's name is ' no 20" '. Lets not start calling people names either, i don't really take to that too well.
glad to meet you.
have a nice day!

ok mate i didnt mean anything by it, and i didnt mean any offence by calling you a doofus.
and yes i will read a persons details before i post in future
i dont mean anything by this either, and i dont want to start and argument but what you posted didnt really offer any help to "no 20" 's" decision either.
