Item: 2004 Kona Cowan (Frame was only recently purchased seperately brand new) custom built with Marzocchi 66RC2X (only 3 rides old), Sun MTX front rim laced to Dice HooDoo with DT comp spokes, Sun MTX rear rim laced to a Spot Brand single speed hub with DT champion spokes, Truvativ Holzfeller Urban 7075 crankset, Scud DH bar and stem, Tioga White Tiger tires front and rear, Truvativ XR seat post, Shimano Deore LX hydros with 206mm front rotor.
Location: Innercity Melbourne, will freight at buyers expense
Item Condition:Frame is in excellent condition with a couple of small scratches. Wheels are in good condition, the rear has a slight buckle. Brakes work beautifully. Tyres are quite worn. Forks are VERY new with a small cosmetic scratch on the lowers.
Reason for selling: Need to buy an XC bike for the Mont, cant afford both :(
Price and price conditions: $1800, I will consider all reasonable offers
Extra Info: The frame is the same as the Cowan of 2006 but in a MUCH better colour. It also comes with seperate dropouts if you want to use gears in the future. The long top tube of this bike would make it a great geared DH or 4X rig, I have been running single speed for simplicity and cost effectiveness, the thing never breaks! The forks have rebound, preload and 2 types of compression adjustment and just feel terrific, they are set at 150mm travel.
