Do you know it was the person in question. Do you have substancial evidence it was this person?

You do realise not everyone that rides ourimbah have cars and lots of people ride the ourimbah track.

Sorry to hear of your loss mate.

If you know who did it, make a statement to the police. At the very least they'll get a phone call or visit from the local coppers, which should have a deterrent effect. Sub-legal vengeful vigilante retribution would be appropriate if they had stolen your illegal drugs. However, in this case you have the full protection of the law.

Oh and, windscreens are laminated.... they don't break so easily. the other windows in the car are just safety glass and break very easily ;)

Get his Plate number and Report him man. At the very least write down his details here so we can keep our eyes open for him, what does he drive/ride/wear?
And If you are the Useless prick who stole these things, get a spine you worthless prick...dont EVER show up to any of the Local rounds at Ourimbah, we dont need your kind there! You may find yourself down the bottom of a gully.

Gday guys,

It was my stack hat so i guess i should pipe up.

I left it at the bottom of the trail for about 2 minutes and when we went back it wasnt there, there were only 3 other guys there at the time and we had seen them there before. They seem to spend their time at the bottom doing another section, 2 from 2 times we have been there they have been hanging around at the bottom with their bright red truck, conspicuous:confused:

They have a red single cab? i think and two of the guys ride a demo and a DH comp. Having actually taked to them before what sort of tools flog something that is left for 2 minutes?

Now i didnt actually see them take it but unless a cross country rider went rushing thru and leant down to grab it... unlikely.... then these guys were the only ones there.

A couple of the boys saw them driving away and asked if they had seen it, they said Nuh and drove away quickly.

I figure that if you didnt flog it then you would at least stop and ask where exactly it was left, but just driving away quickly with a flat denial is the actions of pricks who would flog it if you ask me.

Coulped with the fact that there was only us and them there, and i left it for 2 minutes = we all reckon they grabbed in their ute on the way past.

No huge drama. But pretty poor form out in the bush, its not like we are not going to know who took stuff.

The concept of stealing peoples sh*t really gets on my nerves. When we had our bikes stolen my gloves were taken as well and they were good gloves plus my dads helmet. I hope you find the culprits and the dump on the bonnet sounds like a good idea or stick something up their exhaust pipe or put sugar in their engine. Dont ask me how i come with these ideas.

Yeah i like the dump on the bonnet too.

All those bacon and egg muffins.

Might wreck the serenity of the bush a bit...but be worth it.

Its a hassle and an added expense that is unnecessary... Theives are TOOLS!

:D

A good idea would be to put sugar or salt into the petrol tank.

Goes hard and then sticks to the innards of the engine...mmm toffee'd engine.

They'll be laughin it up till their engine catches fire and their car is no longer functional :)
