Hi all, just an idea.

Rather than trawl through every threads and posts to see what bike is stolen at where, would it be more effective to have a “stolen bike” bulletin board?

Basically what I proposing is like a missing person board, except in one page you can see a picture of the bike and the basic characteristic of the bike (make, distinctive marks) and the date/time/location that it was stolen. You will divided this board by state so people can concentrate on bikes stolen from the state that they live in.

I believe rather than having these information on the forum, maybe have it on Fiki would make a bigger impact……

Just a thought.

I think hes tryign to make the point that there could be a better way of organizing it, so that if you want to look for something stolen your not looking through threads that have no concern to you and etc.

I like his suggestion.

Fair enough, I interpreted it as him saying that he was having to trawl through all the forums to see the stolen posts, sorry. A bulletin-board style format would be kind of cool but I've got no idea whether it's possible to do with vBulletin formatting. Wait and see what Scott says.

I guess basically what I suggesting is one page you can see information about multiple bikes, their owner's contact and where they gone missing. Right now you have to go through one thread per bike, it would be nice to have one page with 10+ bikes. I believe its a bit more effective in helping people in remembering and identify stolen bikes.

My apologies if this wasn't clear.

Cheers!!
