Cheers guys.
Just a little update - Police came out to fingerprint yesterday. Also I just spotted the other thread posted by reno_nath of yet another theft in Cremorne. I had been told by the police that there was continued bike theft in the area, and i guess this just proves it - whats going on?

Hmm, well spotted. Don't read that paper so wouldn't have seen it.
See below >>>
Bikes prime targets
MOUNTAIN bikes have become the targets of thieves in the Neutral Bay and Cremorne areas, and police are urging parents and children to ensure their bikes are more suitably secured.
Despite being chained up, four mountain bikes were stolen from underground security car parks last week, two of them from a unit block in Alfred St, Neutral Bay, between Thursday and Saturday.
Police say using rigid steel locks, locking garages and sheds and engraving bikes with details could help prevent theft.
Can't say i really could have done much more in regards to my bike - it was locked up with a pretty burly locking device. A couple of solid steel locks are in order me thinks.

Starship sorry to hear about your bike, i am still riding the exact same one. Bought from Bike Addiction brand new. Still goes strong, have put a new wheelset on and a flat bar, but otherwise, can't bear to part with it. Shame when an old friend goes missing:(

Sorry to hear about that mate,
I had my bike stolen from my place in Mosman a few months back so yeah, i know what you mean about all those thefts.
I'll keep a look out for you around here, like you've already said, it will be easy to spot.
Good Luck

Starship, I noticed that a Muni-mula is currently for sale on ebay. Might be worth a look.

Hmm seems to be a low spec for a muni mula. No XT, no RS Judy's (unless its older than mine was). RS Indy's, ooh man i remember my old set of those on my GT...scaaaary flex. Anyway nice spotting williamsaztek, though i do have a XC dualie and street HT to keep me entertained/take up space so i won't really be replacing my lost Muni Mula with anything.
Cheers though ;)
