vtss350, how did that work out for you?
that tree underneath you in that last shot looked like it was going to lead to a world of pain!!!1
not to mention your ankles. was that the order the shots were taken in, or did you go back and smash it?

Gunjin is up in the state forest part of Mundaring, near a place called The Dell.
It's got some excellent downhill, with shore jumps n stuff.
Its a shame theres not more decent shore stuff out at Langford, but I guess it being a state XC course sort of means you have to keep it off the racing bits.

The two fall shots was my first attempt. I clipped the large tree branch on the shore and didnt have enough speed to do the gap so I bailed. Just missed the small tree (very very Lucky) and landed on my feet and walked away.
Got straight back up there and did it second attempt. The main drama is getting low enough on the bike to get under the tree branch and still have enough speed to do the gap jump.
Felt awesome when I did it though.

The rest of the track is good. It has the float drop and palet drop and a few other great drops. Also has a couple of see saws.

This is from just over the top of the hill at Langford from where ManikDWNHiller took his shots. Needs just a wee bit of work done :(

Last I heard all the NS was pulled down at Langford looks like it has been rebuilt or I heard wrong. I have not been out there for 18 months might be worth a visit some time.

Well if you like your shore rickety and half assed, its fantastic
Lets just say those who have attempted a small rebuild in the original freeride area didnt do too many woodwork classes in high school :D
The log on the other side where the original shots were is pretty decent though.
