We are in Adelaide. A koala was sittin in the middle of the track a few weeks back too, just didnt wanna move. And all this within 15mins of the CBD, absolute heaven!

Oh!! cute little echidna :) I guess they are they are the only creatures with sufficient anti-bike defences to survive on a downhill track :p

This photo was taken about 800 metres away from where you found Spike, at the top of the Mt Osmond, near the trails begining, about 2 months ago. Looks like him/her given they both have the same broken spines/quills.
