Update: Rennie didin't in fact crash in qualifying, "he made it to the final and didn't finish because his bars came loose after landing one of the jumps in the middle section of the course." (Thanks Chris)

Sam has taken the title ahead of Joel Panozzo and Mick Hannah. The mud stricken track sorted alot of the local riders out, leaving the more experienced pro riders to clean up. Noted absenses from the main race were Rennie (crashed out in qualifying), and Kovarik (Moto injury).

Farkin's own Lindsay Klein has taken out the U/19's event ahead of Amiel Cavalier.

PMBC ('http://www.wamba.asn.au/pmbc/news/news.html') have a short writeup here ('http://www.wamba.asn.au/pmbc/news/news.html').

More results as they are available.

interesting to note the times difference between both runs... better qualifiers would have had slightly better conditions.

Nathan did not crash in qualifying! He crashed in the final and loosened bolts on his stem. He had to walk his bike down as he could not steer properly.
My congratulations to Sam! In horrific conditions he did a great job.
I would like to thank the organisers for continuing the event even though we almost froze to death.
The 4x was ridiculous! A big apology to the BMX people is in order.

That's for sure! Talk about terrible timing, Barnsey's ego may have been overpowering if he'd won sport though :P
