i no this is not mountain biking, but ive seen people posting bmx picks and what not so i figured id post these fotos from a city ride on sunday.

what are the decks made from,just fibre glass or a composite material,it looks like they stand up to a bit of punishment

there are a few dif kinds. you can get uber bling ones with snowboard bindings and boots. i had a go when i was in cooma once. nice pommy backpacker let me and a couple of mates screw around on his for a day. was great fun! (not as good at it as you though!:P

im glad you like the pics, the decks can be made of maple ply or composite, if you want to know how expensive they are it depends what you compare the price to; compared to mountain bikes they are dirt cheap: from 300-900 bucks. they have kind of "half bindings" is the best way to describe them, its basically a snow board binding without the back ankle support thing.

an average board is around 500-600 but it all depends on what you want to use it for

i personally dont build there, or ride ythere for that matter.
but i do no the guys who did nuild there (that rainbow rail was sick) but the council bulldosed it all and tried to charge my friend $2500 for land dammage
