Well, im not too sure how many people are aware of the Spanish blood scandle occuring at this minute, just hours before the 2006 Le Tour de France.
For those that are not aware, approx. 56 cyclists may not be able to compete in the tour after their names were found in a lab that corresponded to blood that was also found (they have a transfusion prior to the race to increase their performance w/o taking PED's / untracable - against rules).
Both Ullrich and Basso are great riders, but Jan Ullrich was a big favourite this year. If found to be guilty, all their credibility will vanish. Idiots, possibly.
