Hello all,
I have noticed the online 'dream team' popularity with some of my work colleagues. It comes from Cricket dream teams, AFL, NRL, and World cup dream teams where you have a certain amount of cash to buy individuals to make a team, and you get points depending on the performance of your team as a whole. The AFL for example sorts teams into private leagues, made of 16 teams on a ladder.
Enough of the background info, to the possibly good idea??
A Tour de France dream team. Say 8 riders (one of those being captain for double points). You could make all sorts of bonuses for sprinters jersey, climbers and the like as well as in the order/time they finish each stage.
I haven't found something like this online yet, so it could be a first for Farkin. As for the time, money and resources good luck!
Oh and for that idea, the MTB riders could have a world cup dream team as well. Ah the possibilities!
Cheers.
