Went out to the goat farm today with mah bro on his Giant DH-Bling.
That place is awesome fun since theyve put loads of berms in.
Only bad note of the day was me stacking the Reign and now I can barely walk :(
Enjoy..

Wow that track looks awesome!
That rock garden looks schweet and so do some of those corners.
Is it private or a public track, kudos to those who built it.
its too bad there isnt another track like that on the other side of the country (Sydney)
it looks like a great track, and bad luck about your stack

Holy shit looks like sweet fun, just my type of track includes all features rocks, berms, jumps etc.
That is exactly how I would want my track to be, I love it.

I was stunned when i saw the berms (and the ones in the pic attached are the small ones, up the top of the course theyre a good 6 foot high.
It used to be a private track, open only on race days, but since October i think, its been public (and you can tell, we removed 2 big bags of rubbish from it yesterday!). CALM along with alot of the local mountain bike clubs have been working on it together and its a credit to them.
Good to see the trails being marked well with difficulty ratings too.

Since I did some damage to my medial collateral ligament, I decided to head up to the goatfarm with some mates last weekend as photographer. Heres a few shots...
A few perth riders who frequent George's might recognise a certain polished Orange Patriot.
Oh and that reaaaally close up shot of a dude on a kona? Is someone who stacked it right in front of me, the shot is a mere moment before he flipped it :D
Enjoi...

Niice.
Looks like now is definitely the time of year to be out at the Goatfarm.
No (well... less) dust and it's GREEN! GREEN!
Hope you're healing well.
I'm also off the bike for a while with a retarded lower spine (not the medical definition, but you get the idea).

The GoatFarm is nice indeed. Just to clear things up abit. The shire gave Paul Neve alot of money and he has been designing it and builting it with help from others. So yer if you dont know who that is, he used to be the president of Perthmtb club and he ownes and built the Three Chilles 4X track. So yer resasssured the GoatFarm is in good hands and will turn out great. Oh and it was never private. You could go there when ever you wanted. Its just you couldnt get cars in unless it was race day.
Geez i wrote so much, my English teacher will be so happy.
