dont get the goose. they aren't good. Look at price first, then weight, then looks and then equiptment (does it have good shit on it or crap). Also look for gyro or single cable (which ever you prefer), chrome rims for better braking, gear ratio (compact is better, none of this 44-16 crap). I would suggest getting a light bike cos mines 15kg and it shits me. If you want fair quality parts you should look on bmx forums, or this one for used parts like frames cos they are cheap for their quality.

hope my rambling helps at all!

PS DON'T just look at the colour of it cos thats what i did (i didnt know much then) and now i'm changing every thing on my bike! (the only things stock are the bars, brake levers, cranks, bb and seating)

look @ the price of the bikes... 700 should get you a good bike. If you buy used you can get awesome parts for less, but you may have to wait longer. I have seen wethepeople and fly frames go for 100-200 on ozscenebmx. thats with headset and bb. forks are cheap as to get alright ones, wheels would be the next most expensive thing, then all the other crap like bars, brakes, tyres, cranks (with cranks try to get second hand or in a package cos they can cost nearly 300) and pedals.

The main problem with getting a stock bike from a shop is that you will end up buying new upgrades all the time. the 4pack looks alright, alot of stock parts thou.

Try making a list of all the dream parts you would have on your bike an then try to get as close to that as possible, that way you will be satisfied that you got what you wanted.

Mongoose mccan is about that. maybe $750 ? comes with lots of snafu components. Sun chrome rear rim with odyssey Cassette hub etc. it maybe be $800 tho im not 100% but for the components its a great buy. and the frames are a signature model too

hey mate,

I've got a Specialized TJ Lavin frame which I built up with:

Odyssey
- rims
- thermal forks (lifetime warranty)
- brakes
- gyro

Snafu
- hangers
- stem
- tyres

Profile
- Sprocket

FSA
- 3 pc cranks
- pig headset

It cost me over $2500 to build up a couple of years ago and I've probably ridden it for less than 6 hours since then. Just wasn't what I wanted. I went back to MTB.

I'm only looking at selling it for around $1000. Its an absolute steal. The forks, frame and wheels are worth more than that. So if you can save a couple more hundred this is an awesome bmx.

Send me a PM if your interested. I have tried to attach a picture but I don't know if it will work. Let me know your email address and I can send you some.
