You Yangs DH

For those that have ridden the You Yangs, is it possible to shuttle on that track or do you have to walk up??

What is the track like to ride with the main obsticles blocked?? How long is it??

We are thinking of riding out there this Sunday as it seems everywhere else is just not drying out anymore and I've been told the Youie's is OK to ride in the wet/damp/mud.

Bring back Summer....................................for those of us that live in beautiful Melbourne that is!!

-No its not possible to shuttle the track due to access restrictions, better to walk up the track
-The 'A' line such the gaps, drops are blocked but you can still ride the 'B' line
-You Yangs is fine to ride when its damp, great traction!

This weekend(sunday) me and a couple of people are fixing some of the sections of the track so you'll see me up there on an '03 Black Norco Shore.

Hey mate, YY takes 10mins to hike.. so no need to worry. all the man made aline are blocked, but theres still a few natural aline things open. the PArk lady shuttled us once but that was a one off, XC stack.

I've been told the Youie's is OK to ride in the wet/damp/mud.

youies is at its best when is wet. not that it is realy 'wet', moist is more the word. :) it could rain all night and there wont be a puddle in sight on the track. there's no such thing as mud on the youies dh course

theres a mtb orientering day in august for people still in skool:cool:. cant wait day off to ride the yy's
