That bike would be great for DH...that is what its built for. I used to put a playing card on my frame so it made a clicking noise but I discovered they made freewheels to do the same thing and it didn't wear out as often.

The Boxxers are made for DH as well. You'll have a good time on that bike.:D

but i like the idea of boxxers. that noise is comeing from
the rear weel. ( hub)

and very forgiving.....

hey mate they are a sick bike (i have had one for the last year and a bit) but im not such a fan of running boxxers on them cos it just makes the head angle to steep. when i was getting my 888's fix i ran my boxxer world cups on it and i had to run the back end on the lowest bb and 8inch travel and that was pushing it. but hey everyone to there own. If ya want a nice hub have a look at the tuffneck hubs thats what i was running on mine

I think you would be after a hub like a ringle. They are extremely loud.I have one on my bike.My mates get the shits because its loud.I also think that the dice hoodoo hub is loud.

I used to own a 2005 Norco Aline that I built up with 2004 Boxxer Teams (mattydv owns it now). The bike was great, nice to ride, reliable couldn't really fault it to much really. It certainly rode betteer than I ever made it.

I had a pair of Dice HooDoo hubs on it as well. Again, for what you pay the hubs were awesome. No complaints or issues at all from me on those.

The only reason I got rid of the Aline was because I traded up to a Norco TeamDH, but I still think the Aline with the boxxers was an awesome ride. With 2006 Boxxer teams it should be even better.
