Its a great track and ther is a maintenece (spelling, sorry) day on this sunduy so it will be running all well. Its a fun track to ride with a decent sized chute and a 25 foot and 18ish foot gap as well as some technical stuff. Should be a good racig weekend with 2 days of shuttles.

RRR,

I'm guessing that the pricing laid out on the flyer isn't inclusive of a day licence fee? I.e. Say I was a junior wanting to ride Sat and Sun, I would pay $70+$10 for a day licence yeah?

cheers, Hugh

P.S. The track is bloody awesome. Nice and open in parts, tight and techy in others.

Hugh,

You are right about the day license except MTBA now charges $15.

Pete We put the general clasess down ie hardtail. The normal classes that apply at a race will be there so never fear you can enter juniour hardtail.

Hey there is a strong chance I will enter the Junior Hardtail. Are full face's compulsory because all I have is a 661 mullet helmet (Bucket). If they are is there anyway I can get one without having to buy one? EG borrow or hire?

Do we have to pre-nom? Or is that just optional if you want to go into the draw?

No you don't have to pre nominate but we would love it if you did.

Is there a nomination sheet hidden somewhere?? Can't seem to find one, either that or I'm too lazy.

What age does the junior classes go up to?

blackjack
27-08-2006, 08:28 AM
juniour goes up to under 19. under 15, under 17, under 19, but normally under 19 is more expensive i think than 15 and 17

just wanting to know...

Can you just pay for saturday runs like at Kennilworth? If so, at the end of saturday, and you decide to race sunday, can you just go and pay a bit more:confused:

Road Rage Ryan
08-09-2006, 07:35 AM
That's a tough question. I think the answer is that you would need to have an MTBA license or day license for the saturday to do this. It would however make life very difficult for registration keeping tabs on people doing this. I will talk to some of the other guys and see what they think.

Urbanrider I have spoke with the other race organisers and unfortunately either you do both days or just the Sunday. If you wanted to you could pay for the two days saturday morning and if you didn't like the track give the sunday a miss but you will not get any money back for the sunday. Sorry but this will become to hard to manage otherwise.

Race cancelled unfortunately, damn. Travelled from Rocky looking forward to a good race, but stupid rain haha. Can't change mother nature I guess. Still had a wicked time though, rode 'Rain Rut' a couple of times with Shaun and Juzzo and still got a few runs of Mackenzie in on Saturday. Damn good fun.

Is it postponed for a fortnight away?

Yep. Just turn up again on Sunday 24th September for the State DH Champs. Let's hope for a beautiful, clear sky like we had on Saturday.

Remember to keep your number plates from the race. This is essential. If you don't you will have to register again!

The race is now on the 24th of September. The layout for the day will be exactly the same. Rego and practice starts at 8:00 AM. Hope to see you all there!
