yer it was lucas, he over cleared 'vegemite', took a bit 2 many pedals unfortunately. He went down really hard, he culdnt stand up at all, he was down for ages until the paramedics came and brought him out on a stretcher, he was also on a dipper :S scary stuff. not sure about his injuries but i think it was his collar bone, couple of ribs and vertebrae. so he wont be riding 4 a while, i dun think he had any insurance either so......we all hope he gets better soon.

props,

greg

Lucas has Broken collarbone, ribs and maybe other bits. He was lifted out by about 12 or so Ambos, Fire Brigade and SES, a bit of overkill. He had 2 fire engines, 2 ambos, a rescue 4wd and the cops all turn up. He is at RNS

Yep, good ole Lukas or Checkers as we call him got smashed today at Vegemite, he's at RNS alongside fellow Dirtmuncher rider Mark who got in a world of pain on Friday, Mark is not so good with a couple of compressed vertebrae and a possible operation. Anybody looking for accident insurance, contact vicmtb, it's only $80/year. Details over at dirtmuncher.

vegemite needs a proper lander on it will continue to claim more people.

Hope checkers gets better soon.
