hey,
I am 14 and have been riding for about 4 years now which I know is nothing as friends my age have been ride for 6,7,8 years. But I recently bout a 06 Sasquatch and I really want to start competing. I do not really want to go all out and be super serious about competing but I wanna race and have fun with mates. I was at the jumps in Brissie the other day when another kid my age suggested that I compete to which I replied 'On this? A hardtail?' he said that he also has a Sasquatch and he competes. So give me some info? Is there a hardtail category? or do I race against Duallies? What age groups are there? Where are the races held? Thanks for your help, catch you later.

You can race hardtail, heaps of people do. You will be racing other hardtail riders, not duals. There is also a junior hardtail catergory, but I'm not sure what age you have to be.

you race hardtail or junior hardtail(up to 17 years old) depending which divisions they are going to run, doesnt matter what your skill level is, just get out there and give it a go;)

Hey there is a strong chance I will enter the Junior Hardtail. Are full face's compulsory because all I have is a 661 mullet helmet (Bucket). If they are is there anyway I can get one without having to buy one? EG borrow or hire?
