Anyone want to roll in a group from Melbourne (North Melbourne) to save money on petrol? I'm not an obnoxious grom with no car or anything...
"Location: Session #3. Sunday August 13th. Skills training. Long Gully. Meet and ride with several of the top downhill riders in the state. Get expert advice on cornering, breaking, jumping and general riding technique. Coaching and information on bike set-up and maintenance. Tips on how to get the most out of yourself and your bike. Day consists of Training, coaching and information from 9.30 - 12.30. Lunch included. Ride from 1.30 to 4.30. Cost: $30.00 for all MTBA/Club members. Those wishing to attend the ride sessions only $20.00, including lunch. Non MTBA/Club license holders add $10.00."
are the clinics designed for beginers or more advanced, also is the track suited to the not so experienced rider as i am.actually make that inexperienced old fart.

every one there is a ride session for every one in the arvo but the morning is for people who would like to learn more about riding

The tracks would be ok for inexperienced people. Some 8 year old kid rode down it all day on his BMX, so it can't be to hard. There are plenty of b lines.

here is a pic, follow long gully rd for a couple of Km's, there is a farm on the right.
the map in this pic shows how to get there from the township in healesvile.

there is a good sign post saying long gully estate but there it should be sign posted from healville

long gully track is at number 330 long gully rd healesville melwey ref map 269 C4. ride details refer www.ftf.com.au for sunday the 13 ride day look under dh events.

does this mean if you want to ride, no coaching, it is only between 1.30 and 4.30? or ride at the same times as the coaching is on.
