try the video section of this forum.

Before you do that, you might want to see if it's ok with the rider/guy who took the video.

Not all people will be ok with you taking there videos... :o

Windows movie maker?

Get something a little better and I may believe it when you say you are going to make an "awesome MTB movie"

;)

Small tip - try not to use too many filter effects...

it's great you want to try things out.

a few tips:

- keep the editing short, fast and exciting, don't let clips drag on for too long.
- DO NOT use too many effects. a Slo-Motion counts as an effect, same for sped up stuff and transitions.
- I edit by first choosing the song, sticking that in the timeline, then working from there. make sure the footage goes with the song - when the song changes, change the shot.
- Do not use footage that s no good. ONLY use the absolute BEST footage you have, and if you don't have any good stuff, don't publish the video - make it for practice but don't upload it.
- Make the video the way you want to make it, but listen to all criticisms with open ears. use it as a helpful suggestion as opposed to a dis.
- If you have lots of fun and want to keep making videos, get rid of WMM and use Sony Vegas 6.0c (you don't have to buy it, just get it)

Good luck, i hope the video comes out great. I can't wait to see it.

Yer thanks man i had no intention of putting boring clips in but due to the lack of videos sent to me(10) im gonna have to do lots of just me and my freinds so it wont be totally extreme. Does anyone have suggestions for background music i was thinking slipknot- wait and bleed

haha love it.

Personally i think slipknot style music on videos is really lame unless it's actually excellent riding, otherwise it can make it just a bit daggy
