i have subsribed to get trading access and all that, i have good posts and i go into group memberships and click join group for trading access and it allways says "This does not appear to be a public user group".
what does this mean?

i really need trading access!!!

Note the "read the whole damn thing" part. Also perhaps consider that acting like a child by cracking the shits and saying "this is stupid" blah blah "I really need trading access" etc might NOT get you the trading access you're after. :rolleyes:

We also know that your idea of "been trying for ages" and our idea of "ages" must be totally skewed, because you really haven't been trying for ages, now have you? Be honest... you applied for trading access and then got a little bit impatient, right? ;)

Oh and by the way, YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TRADING ACCESS ALREADY!!!!!!I don't want to tell any of the mods/admins how to run the site, because i do appreciate the time they spend making it work for everybody. just an observation though, it seems that every time one of these threads come up, somebody always tells the thread starter that they need to be patient etc. starting a tthread about it doesn't achieve anything, yet every single time recently, the thread starter has been given trading access within a day or two. doesn't really do much to dissuade newer users from starting threads like this.

i was wondering when I will get trading access cus i have read that whole page thing, and have more than 10 decent posts and i applied a week ago for access. I would like trading access quite soon if possible because I need to sell of some stuff to buy a full face and entry fee.

I think you guys need to understand that the mods do what they do as volunteers. So spending an hour per day dealing with trading access and other junk is not their idea of fun, be patient . Great thread title by the way.

Can I just let people wanting trading access know that when we ask for a statement as to why you should be given access, what we're really looking for is some indication that you're NOT a dick head... that you HAVE read the rules of Farkin... that you UNDERSTAND the rules of Farkin... and that you WILL stick to the rules of Farkin.

Having said that, you'll probably understand when I tell you that applications like "so I can sell stuff" really wont cut it and will probably get ignored in favour of better applications showing a bit more effort. Lets face it... if people can't be stuffed making the effort to write one lousy paragraph showing us that stuff I mentioned above I suppose there's very little chance of them taking the effort to be good traders here on Farkin. And we can do without them, simple as that.

Seriously they're busy guys with day time jobs so give them some time.They took a week to approve my access so just wait and see.
