The wall at the council, bunny hop to manual. There are heaps of grass banks. Avalon bowl is pretty fun.

yeah, me and shmeado are mona villains (ooh bad pun!) so we spend most of our riding time at the bowl and on the half pipe.
theres a rail missing there aswell. might have to try and gap it sometime.

The av cats are fine as long as your not an islander at the moment. 3 guys in hospital in the last 2 weeks
There either too high on drugs or hanging around Av surf club to see you anyway.

av cats
that'd explain the paddy wagon heading up to the surf club the other night.
Not surprising, north av has been Little Nimbin for longer than I can remember.
big wallrides on the main road in mona, just up the hill from the Merc dealership. Kinda easy, but the need to pedal into oncoming traffic makes things interesting. There's a pipe under the footpath with a cracked concrete hump over it, right next to one of the driveways - makes a good transition on the way up.
steel grates on a slope, opposite side of the road from the Merc dealership. Not that big.
A drain between Darley Rd and Bassett St, at the Pittwater High end. Turn down the path to your right after Lightpower in Darley Road, it runs alongside the main drain (full of muck) but is dry along the junction that runs parallel to the road.
avalon skatepark, as mentioned... reasonable BMX crowd call it home, they ride the drain too but it's hard on the wrists, don't mind the parents/kiddies/k-mart bikes/training wheels, oh and the news that scooters are better in the recycling hasn't made it this far north yet.
um
there was once some jumps on the mudflats in Careel Bay... they tend to come and go though... head along the wooden mangrove walkway from the western side of Careel 3 (soccer ovals), you'll get almost all the way to the end and see a clearing to your right, straight off the back of some houses. No guarantees, haven't been down there in ages.
Trials riders, head around the rocks north of Avalon Beach - there is a stack of rideable stuff.
Don't go near St Michael's Cave though, that bloody great truck-sized boulder in front of the steel cage came down in the last two months...
there isn't stacks of street stuff up here... a fair bit of short steep rocky stuff though, if you have a bike that can handle it then PM me and I'll show you around.

i think you just gotta get out there and explore, i mean there is more concrete in the world than dirt jumps or down hill trails.

just a group from avalon that made up 'av cats' for a nickname. i heard that some of them tattoo (or draw :P) on avalon's postcode on themselves.
they just sound like a bunch of wanky kids/teenagers that think that they are the biggest thing since jesus.

hey mate, yeah havent ridden in the construction area. usually filled with younger skater mates of mine. Do you mean left off the main road at the dealership (ie bassett st) or further up towards newport on the main road? ridden the main road ones a bunch of times, but we found a possible wallride on bassett street, and when we went to scope it out, the old lady that owns the house was standing out the front, and said "dont think about climbing up this wall". she was actually very nice about it, and i'm guessing people have tried before, but we acted nice and pretended we had no intention of doing it.
