A Good Downhill Bike

Hey guys, im really interested in downhill races what would be a good bike to start downhill racin on.

might need to give a bit more info,

price range would help for a start

there are heaps of good bikes out there so its really hard to recomend somthing

around $2000

the best ones in my opinion would be the specialized demos which are $7000-$9000
or the konas which are around $5500-$8500
i suggest u buy a second hand dh if u only hav $2000 look on for sales in farkin u should find some nice ones in there

Yer you would probably get somthing second hand like a Kona sinky, Giant Dh or a fairly good Norco. Sorry but you just missed out on an 03 Foes DHS mono my brother sold for $2450. But tere is plenty of bikes out there for that amount of cash. Good luck:)
