Just a note as I found out the hard way & not to many shops may be aware that the deraillur hanger on the Giant Faiths are not the standard Giant hanger, but a faith specific hanger. They look the same but are a fraction different in size. So throw your spare Giant specific hanger at the guy who sold it to you & get one that fits before you too get caught out when you thought you turned up on race/ride day prepared.

That's what happen's when the it use's an axel that's bigger than a regular sized QR giant one. You lbs giant stockist should be able to get it easily and quickly.

In which case, the red on my helmet is my excuse for periodically stopping, dropping and rolling when downhilling.

Hm, hangers are anoying to break, bad luck with that, and getting the wrong hanger.hmm, are the faith hangers any more expensive? (I don't own a faith, just interested to know)

Don't think Faith hangers are more expensive than others, not that I know the price of other bike hangers, however at the moment there is not the alternative brand model available thus you have to buy the more expensive Giant brand hanger.

if the hanger is only slightly off why dont you just cut/grind it down. not like it will make much of a difference....

Bucause I'd rather spend the $20 & buy one that fits than spend 2hs of my time trying to get something not intended to fit to match.
Hey, but you go for it, tight ass..
besides I only had to exchange the giant hanger for the faith hanger. no charge..
