Western Australia??

hey fellow farkiners,
my uncle and aunty are over from Western Australia and it comes to my attention that i have not heard of any races that are held over in WA except for three chillies farm. i am more interested in DH but will still race MTNX/4X.
im a NSW boy and will be flied over there to race. if any body has any information on any DH races coming up or MTNX/4X races fee; free to post some up.:p :D

Hey reece its not so much race related but if you are going over to W.A. it might be worth you checkin out Esperence. The Red Bull Freight Train went through there but ive got a few MTBing mates over there and the DH trails are meant to be awesome.

20 aug, 3 Sep, 10 Sep, 17 Sep, 8 Oct are up-coming races...[/i have gone on the sight and i read in the DH calendar that there is the state championships on the 7th and 8th of october? right? i live in NSW so i will be flown over to race. but as i looked through the forums i could not find any informaion on the champs? can you please help me with this?

The exact particular details (other than date and location) dont usually get posted up until a week or two prior.
The usual routine is that 'most' people know their way to each location - but details are still given.
For state rounds practice on Saturday and early Sunday - Racing Sunday.
Fees usually about $50 for senior. (plus MTBA/plate fee if not already member..)
Look at any prior rounds info and it will probably be a similar format.
Otherwise keep a watch on the website for when the info comes out.
In WA we only have a few clubs that actively participate which usually results in around 100-150 for a state round. Maybe slightly lower numbers for club rounds, and as we dont get many interstate participants the format doesnt change much so their isnt the need to post up the info months ahead as we all here generally know how it all happens....
