$300...... no.
this bike wasnt to much more than that new, and i remember building these bike 5 years ago. i cant belive it still has the bully cranks on it, these cranks i think are made of cast iron and there soft as. my old shop got heaps of complaints about the cranks comming loose and just wearing out so fast.
if it was my $300 i would save up for just a bit longer(say.. untill you had $500) and buy a decent bike that will last. not a toy bully:p

agreed..
id say its worth bout 80-120.
i know that on ozscene they have some hella good bikes going for around 400 - 700. i even saw a bike on there recently that was about 10 times better than that one for 150.

Bully's are department store / toy store bikes. They are not reputable in any sense of the world. Take the advice of the people who've already posted; run far away from this heap of crap and keep saving until you can afford a REAL BMX.

For Christ's Sake! DO NOT BUY THAT BIKE! My first bike was a Bully and it was a dodgy as hell. There are better options out there than that. If the bike is second hand and its being sold for $300, tell the seller to lower the price, or tell him where to stick it!

Seriously mate, take the advice of those who have posted here. That BMX isn't worth the metal it's made of. If you want to spend 300, look for a second hand BMX and stick to better known brands like DK, norco, mongoose, hoffman, GT...but whatever you do don't buy that bike.

A few people have answered that - read their replies.
People who know what they are talking about have said give it a miss - you asked for advice. Are you going to take the advice offered?

to $1. its not worth buying in otherwords. thats what people are trying to say. you can find something soomuch better. go to www.ozscenebmx.com and theres a Haro R2 custom thats heaps better, like 15 times better, for between $150-$200 (thats what hes actually asking). so even if hes not form your area/state, it will be less than $300 to buy the bike and pay for postage.
that bully is a dodgy, heavy piece of crap. buy it, and you're an idiot. if it was any good, don't you think someone wouldve said so. instead you just hear complaints about it. isnt that telling you something?

No, it's still considerably cheaper.
All this local bike shop stuff gives me the shits. The market dynamics have changed, and if you can't evolve to fit in to the new marketplace, laying on a guilt trip is pretty bloody pathetic.
Bike shops should be pressuring their supply chain to compete with the internet, not feeding the consumer bullshit in order to scare or shame them into being ripped off.
"Who will fix your bike when we go out of business?" I will, like I usually do.
Anyway, don't buy the Bully, it's crap. Keep an eye on the second hand market and you'll pick up something nicer very quickly.

would be $200 worth the bmx there.
reasons; bmx and mtb are cheap now days
its old and heavier than todays standards, but still good quality
upgrades don't do much anymore unless they are the best parts
