Hmm well I reckon that even as ledgendary as Iron Maiden are they will go sour on this album. Just like the RHCP with Stadium Arcadium!!!! I love the earlier albums (One Hot Minute, Mothers Milk and Blood Sugar Sex Magik) but now they have turned into little Teenybopper idols!!!!
Just frustrating!!!

RHCP have always been a teenybopper band.
If you like your Maiden and you're in Sydney, head to Utopia on Saturday. Starting midday I think, Lord (ex-Dungeon) are doing a free gig as a tribue to Maiden. There'll be plenty of covers and it sounds like it'll be a pretty entertaining gig with guest singers and other silliness.

hahaha i want to see this lord band. only good things are being said.
They are pretty awesome if you like your power. Once you get past the cheesiness the musicianship is fantastic. As Dungeon they did a promo called "Maiden our spare time", which as you could guess was a CDR of IM covers ;)
Speaking of covers, check out their version of Panteras "Shattered" on myspace.com/lordaus it's the last song down, very well done.

Holy crap I got this CD yesterday for Dads day and I will have to say without Iron Maiden we would not have the bands we do today.
This allbum rocks. I have listen to it twice now, and Steve Harris's bass blows me away everytime I hear it the 3 guitar attack and Nicko's drumming feel it right down below. And not to forget the almighty Bruce, I don't think as strong as he use to be but still able to smash through concrete. For a band which is neally as old as me they a still kicking arse, Big long epic songs scorching solo's and the forever galloping Bass, Not there finest work nothing will ever come close to 7th son of a 7th son but still a classic. Buy it if you a fan, the one I got has a DVD with it, I haven't had a chance to watch it as of yet. All this for $25
I love Iron Maiden (except for those years with that knob Blaze Bayley). I wish they would tour Australia
