I have been given the task of finding someone to work in my service department. Read on for the details;


PSC, a leading provider of barcode scanners and wireless networking devices is looking for an electronics technician to work in our North Ryde office. Duties include (but are not limited to) service and support on barcode scanning devices - modular repairs, programming and configuring scanners as required, assisting in warehouse duties when required, telephone and email support. All necessary training provided. This is an entry level position and although no experience required, applicants with good mechanical skills, some electrical/electronic knowledge, soldering proficiency, PC literacy and an understanding of technology will be highly regarded. Good communication skills are a must.

The working hours are 9.00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
The position is full-time / casual meaning that you work the fulltime hours as stated above but on a casual pay rate. You wont be paid for sick days or holidays but you do get paid for public holidays. There may be a chance to be a permanent employee in the future.

It's a pity i don't live in Sydney, else i'd be all over this (or as much as i could) i'm looking for a job to get into after completing year 12 soon. Something like an electronics technician, as i've been studying it for 3 years, and find it very interesting. Too bad for myself though...
