I thought it might be a good idea to have a forum for people who need help with fixing their bikes and maintaining them. I know that this would get loads of questions and thered need to be a good few stickies but some people could really us some help and it would get questions regarding that sort of thing out of "General MTB discussion" and "Parts and stuff/What should i buy". Just a suggestion but I do realise this may not be possible.

Hey mate yeah I think it is a good idea. It has probably been discussed before, but I think even for little things like helping people set up derailures right and everything could be helpful and help people on here learn more about their bikes.
I'd be all for seeing this.

What exactly is wrong with the existing Parts and Stuff forum? From memory its description includes "Technical Q&A".

A little off the point but I think a specific swap section would be good.

I also think this is a good idea. The Maintenance wiki is great, but it is not comprehensive, and there are lots of little repairs and maintenance tricks that would be great to have a forum for. The Parts and Stuff forum is bery useful for other things, and of course would still be very useful for the "What part should I buy for my..." or even "how much travel has a 2004 XXX fork" etc. These tech questions are very different to maintenance and repair questions.
