Um wouldn't it have been better to call the thread BDO lineup>?<
I have heard rumours of muse and I suspect tool are a likely starter with their tour dates.
Please organisers dont wheel out the RHCP again, they've gone so downhill live since the first time I saw them (1991)
Tool's pretty much a definite, and the guys from Muse claimed in an interview they'll play BDO with Chilli Peppers so that adds weight to the rumours.

aaaw man... my emotions on that are so mixed. definitely a huge fan of bssm and one hot minute and californication was definitely good. By the Way was good, but didnt compare however the concert was definitely damn good! I look at a one hot minute shirt my sister bought from the tour... how good that would have been!
Which leaves me in my current thinking... by the way concert was great, they are basically a sure fire thing to put on a good show but Stadium Arcadium is pretty weak...

Tool + Muse.
Stoked.:D
I hope i'll be dodging the 30 odd year old freaks wearing their best Maynard shirts. Can't wait.:D
As for RHCP, i think it would be better if they stayed at home.

Whats the bet Tool play just the east coast dates. Freakin shits me when bands do that.
But if the Who turned up, man that would be freakin awesome!

I have also heard Tool are a maybe but I remember an interview recently with MJ Keenan saying he and the band hate playing festivals. There reason is that they can't set the stage and all the effects (those that have seen them know what I'm on about) for a good atmosphere. I'm not convinced they will show up but you never know.....
Jet have some new stuff so I'd expect them to play.
I heard a whisper of the Chemical Brothers on the main stage instead of the boiler room.
The Who would be unreal.....

I heard that in line with current ticket sale protocol for Australian festivals the tickets for the Big Day Out are already sold out.

Meredith lineup looks pretty good to begin with. Certainly better than Falls.

I'm not convinced they will show up but you never know.....Tool are booked to play Sydney by promoters that do BDO and its associated sideshows. The dates also align themselves with typical dates of BDO sideshows as well.
