Newcastle street spots?????

Hey was just woundering where some good street spots are in newcastle within riding distance of newcastle station. Be cool to just know some locations and whats there. Just anything cool to hit up? appreciate any help, thanks in advance.

hey,

if your interested we do a friday night street ride, starts at newcastle skate park, at round 4.30-5pm on a friday arvo, we can give u fair idea of where to ride street in newcastle. Otherwise its really all about havin a look to see whats around.

That's all good and well... we live a fiar way away, would love to come and ride with you but gettin there and school conflict.

We were hoping for mabe some hot spots we will be gettin there by train so directions would be from there... just some cool street stuff we can hit up.

um i cant say any spots,because i dont know of any,but when i first rode in sydney city it was exciting to go riding around and search for sweet spots,just the atmosphere of being in search of that sweet spot can get you pumped and when you find it makes it more gloryfied,hmmmmmmmmmm.

haha yeah thats true, I can remember my first city ride.


But we don't wanna travel for such a long time then not find anythin to ride... ive heard about a 4x track and a skate park not that i think the 4x track would be in the middle of newy but the skate park could be.

The skate park is actually very close to newcastle station, its located right next to the beach

Nah, theres usually people there but not too often is it crowded that you cant move or anything. the 4X track your thinking of is Robbie's at Blackhill, long way from Newy to ride :P

a really sweet time to check out newcastle skate park is at night. I usually hang around after the street rides, its empty save for the occassional MTB'er or BMX'er. the lighting is good there and everything. Always stay on the watch though for drunken stoners trying to flog your bike.

Robbies 4x track is also on private property, so you would be in for a bit of dissapointment if you did ride all the way out there.
