26' / 24' setup

I'm thinking of going to 24' wheels on my bike and at the moment but i dont have enough money to get both wheels. Would it feel weird running my bike (a 416) with the front wheel 26' and the back wheel 24' ? It would be like this for at least a month so i have to make sure i can ride.

i searched for '24','26','wheel', 'wheel setup' and a few other things. I probably suck at searching but can you please give me a link to a few of the threads that explain the 24/26 setup on a norco 416?
