This is my current bike, and is pretty much my dreambike. The only upgrade Im thinking of doing is changing the 5th element to a fox dhx5, and thats only because its starting to show signs of wear.
The idea was to make a freeride bike that I could do anything with, DH competitions to dirt jumping, and as light as possible without making any sacrifices to frailty. So far in the 3 years Ive had it the only breaks were the deore derailleur, and that is to be expected on a DH bike. This is considering Ive had many a week spend in the Alps doing nothing but DH alllll day looooong (sigh).
Specs:
'03 Bullit frame, XL size (I'm 6'4)
66RC '05
Saint cranks
Truvativ box antiderailleur
Hugi FR hubs
Mavix EX721 rims
Race Face Riser
ODI lock on grips
5th element shock
Planetx clingon pedals
Planetx stem

Hayes mag brakes
And the assorted minion/high roller/mobster tires
Bike weighs in just under 18kg
