The park is pretty crap, me and some mates went down a while ago before its official opening (no work has been done since) and its pretty much a bowl, a tiny quarter (which isn't even vert at the top), a grinding rail and 3 stairs.

If they turned it into a Camby look-a-like however...

So true. Although it should be "shared", be realistic guys, there will so many skaters there. I wouldn't even bother bringing down a BMX for a week or so. Unfortunantly, thats the way things are, and untill MTB outnumbers both BMX and skaters, thats the way it will stay.

Maybe you should remember you are on a Mountain bike forum which has 99% of members riding mountain bikes before you make stupid comments like that.

Yeh, I thought it was already open too. I think what it was the "official" opening. Or just another overhyped demo. Did any one end up going down? Heard a few skate brand team things were there.

it is open and has been for weeks.
the only reason you mtb'ers hate ringwood park is because it wassent built for you, it was built for bmx'ers and skaters.
you dont run pegs so you cant grind and there are shit loads of boxes at that park that you cant use. there is plenty of room for bikes and has been every time ive been there so quit complaining and ride it?
or stack in front of me so i can get a good laugh.

and to whoever said it, its not a three stair it a seven with two hubba's and a rail.
