Im about to get a new bike and was after some of that clear adhesive film to put on the downtube and other susceptible parts of my frame, and lost the AMB that had the info on it.
I know its made by 3M, but i searched their site unsuccessfully.
could anyone tel me the product name, where i can get it, and any alternatives?
Cheers

I askec the 3m rep once when i worked at a hardware store, he said most auto stores would stock it, or be able to get it in.

I had looked around for this stuff for ages. The last place i looked had it. This was a motorbike shop, so i reckon your best bet is to go to your local motie shop and see if they stock it.

I went to a car decal place.
You get a whole sheet of it for alot cheaper than the MTB store ones.

Hey if you go to www.ballards.cc they sell it in packs of 2 sheets 300x360mm each sheet. They are a online mail order retailer, ring them up and they post out the same day anywhere in Australia.

Another idea is to head down to your local Tint a Car store and ask them if they have any scrap pieces of the clear film, its worth a try and would be heaps cheaper than buying it anywhere

Ok everyone, just got back from town after a quick visit to Taree MOtorcycles, where i bout 2 sheets of 3M clear adhesive film for $10 each.
Im pretty pleased with myself considering a few rumours i have come across stating that the stuff costs $90 a sheet.
The new bike comes in soon, so i haven't had the chance to use it yet, but it all looks functional and easy enough.
* yes, it comes in different thicknesses, although i am not sure what they are, as it was not written on the packet i bought.
cheers
