There's a proposal to upgrade St Ives skatepark.
Just quickly first- my position:
- I don't have a vested interest in what happens to the skatepark. I barely ride it at all. I'll be spending Most of the next two years in the UK.
- If you want to do anything in regards to this proposal, such as supporting it or giving suggestions, you'll have to do it yourself.
- I think it'd be nice if someone took the opportunity to get the council to modify signage so as to label cyclists as legitimate users of the park.
The proposal.
As part of the proposed Draft Ku-ring-gai Town Centres Development Control Plan (DCP) - St Ives, there's a proposal to upgrade the skatepark, and add street inspired obstacles.

You are invited to submit your feedback on the plans in writing by 19 September 2006.
All submissions will be fully considered by Council before deciding whether to implement the plans.
